THUMBPRINT SERIES

I created this series during Covid-19. It was a time of uncertainty, confusion, and questioning. Profound illusions were shattering. Surprising playfulness and deep resilience were also in the mix.. In hindsight, there was a definitive before and after to the pandemic, but when I shot these photos, I was somewhere ‘in between.’ Marked by a thumprint— the one steadfast, identifying thing— all of my selves wanted to come out and be seen.
