Heart Open began with a blank canvas and a need to express. I gave myself permission to go wherever the painting wanted to lead. I made bold, instinctive marks, allowing emotion to exist without trying to shape or control it. But through the process, the painting shifted because I shifted. What began as pure expression gradually opened into something softer, brighter, more expansive, and alive. It reminded me that transformation doesn’t always come through effort. Sometimes, through open expression, love chooses us.
