6 × 8 Mixed Media (Acrylic, Collage, Charcoal) on Canvas
This painting is for anyone learning to believe their existence is something worth celebrating.
This painting started as a bold abstract—layers of color, collage, texture, and charcoal. The yellow started to feel like ocean spray, or a volcanic eruption, like tectonic shifts happening under the surface that create mountains, valleys… entire worlds.
Back when I was still a church girl, I loved a version of Silent Night by Twila Paris. It began softly like the hymn we all know. But halfway through, the music swirls, and it becomes a celebration. It would always bring tears to my eyes imagining the angels rejoicing & flying about in pure joy that Christ was born.
Creating this painting, I was reminded of this feeling. I truly believe the same celebration happened the day YOU were created.
This painting is a reminder that your existence was not quiet or accidental. That your life—your color, your curiosity, your creativity, is something the universe celebrates!
What if we’re not meant to live in constant self-correction or unworthiness?
What if we’re meant to live in the joy of what and who we are?
No need to hide in your oceanic depths. Crack open and let the world see all the worlds born through YOU. xoxo
Shipping included in the U.S. All sales final.
